The tickle of it running down my face
So slow
People say they feel what I feel
But they really just don't know
The thoughts of things running through my head
Just won't let go

Things are changing all around us
Everyone's fronting ; tryin' to be tough
But that's not enough to see you through
just to think of things the way that I do
My concepts of life are so different
From yours

Most of these thoughts
Are behind closed doors
Why are things this way?
I ask myself this question each day

Are things going to change?
For better or for worse?
I haven't yet found
The reasons of my worth

Life once had a meaning,
And once I was safe.
Once there was freedom,
And once I could laugh.
Happiness once was alive,
And once I had another half.
Once I shared his love,
Once I was by his side,
Once I felt I fitted,
So quickly that died.
All I ever wanted,
Was for it to last.
But it all fell apart,
The hand too big for the glove.
Now it's all died away,
Happiness, joy, love; all memories.
Now I walk alone in this dark, dark world,

SILENT TEARS OFTEN FLOW,
WHEN THINGS WANTED-UNWANTED COME AND GO,
IN THE STILL NIGHT, COMES A SILENT SILVER TEAR,
AND FINDS ITS WAY TO DISAPPEAR,
OFTEN IN THE PILLOW ,
